Neil Hamilton's 'political concubine' jibe

The UKIP AM for Mid and West Wales Neil Hamilton has courted controversy after calling two female AMs "political concubines in Carwyn's hareem".

Neil Hamilton was attacking Plaid Cymru leader Leanne Wood and Liberal Democrat AM Kirsty Williams over their support for the reinstatement of Carwyn Jones as First Minister.

Ms Wood said: "There's no place for sexism in our National Assembly."

Ms Williams said Mr Hamilton used "blatant sexist language".
