Brexit needs creativity and compromise, Carwyn Jones says

Carwyn Jones has urged the UK government to give clarity on Brexit at a summit of ministers from across the British Isles.

He joined others in saying Theresa May should have attended the meeting of the British-Irish Council near Cardiff.

Mr Jones and Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon both stressed their respective governments' preference for staying in the single European market after leaving the EU.

The first minister called for "creativity" and "compromise" in squaring that with any UK government aim to tighten the nation's borders.
