Brexit: Welsh ports depend on Irish trade, MP says
Ynys Mon MP Albert Owen has welcomed a House of Lords report calling for free movement of people and goods between the UK and Ireland after Brexit.
Peers warned of the risk of undermining "the efforts of all those who have worked so hard for peace and good relations across these islands".
The report said the Northern Ireland Executive should have "the right to make decisions about the free movement of EU nationals within its jurisdiction".
Mr Owen, whose constituency includes Holyhead, said the Welsh Government should also have a say because of the importance Irish trade to its ports.
