Brexit ruling a 'victory' for Wales, says Mick Antoniw
AMs do not have to be legally consulted on the article 50 Brexit process, the Supreme Court has ruled.
Senior judges said that the UK government cannot trigger Brexit without consulting MPs.
But they dismissed an argument from the Welsh Government that the assembly should be consulted on the mechanism to leave the EU.
Wales' most senior legal advisor - Counsel General Mick Antoniw - claimed it was a victory in the sense they had upheld the sovereignty of Parliament, which would allow a "voice for Wales" to be heard.
