Swansea Bay city deal: Minister confident of approval

Wales Office Minister Guto Bebb has said he is "confident" the UK government will give its backing to investment deals for the Swansea Bay region and for north Wales.

Plaid Cymru MP Liz Saville Roberts asked during Welsh Questions in the Commons if such deals were in doubt after Lord Heseltine was sacked as an advisor on the Swansea Bay city deal for rebelling on Brexit.

Mr Bebb said the UK government was working to ensure that Wales benefitted from investment as any other part of the UK.
