Brexit: Vast majority wants to stay in customs union, Bryant claims
Rhondda MP Chris Bryant - a former Europe minister - has called on Brexit Secretary David Davis to recognise the "vast majority" of people and MPs wants to stay in the customs union.
Mr Davis told the Commons no part of the UK would be treated differently, after the DUP claimed proposals for the Irish border would "separate" Northern Ireland from the rest of the UK.
Mr Bryant urged the minister to see that keeping the whole of the UK in the customs union could solve the Irish border stumbling block to a Brexit deal.
