Kevin Brennan dedicates his victory to Rhodri Morgan

Labour's Kevin Brennan dedicated his victory in Cardiff West to former first minister Rhodri Morgan, who died last month.

Mr Brennan described it as an "emotional night", saying Mr Morgan helped launch his election campaign.

He polled 26,425 votes, with Matt Smith of the Conservatives second with 13,874.
