Murco oil refinery deal collapse 'hammer blow,' Crabb says

The collapse of the Murco refinery sale in Pembrokeshire is a "hammer blow" for the wider west Wales economy, says an MP.

Murphy Oil said it was entering into consultation with staff on the future of the oil refinery in Milford Haven, where 400 jobs are at risk.

Preseli Pembrokeshire MP Stephen Crabb said the short-term impact of the refinery's closure could be "colossal".
