Carmarthen chemist D. King Morgan to move after 100 years
A Carmarthen business will move to a new home after more than 100 years at its current location.
D. King Morgan Dispensing Chemists has been based at King Street since the 1890s, and is well known for its antiques and home-grown remedies.
A sign on the shop door says the business is relocating to the nearby Furnace House Surgery (FHS) in May.
Current owner Nigel Williams said the move will be "far more convenient for FHS patients" who will not have to leave the premises to access the services.
The shop was run for decades by two brothers - Gwyn and Jack King Morgan - who died during the 1990s.
A footbridge crossing the River Tywi was named in honour of their family.
