Travel chaos hits passengers across Europe

The flight delays and cancellations roll on, the snow keeps coming, and the freeze looks set to run to Christmas and beyond.

Tempers are fraying in airports and railway stations across Europe, as tens of thousands of passengers see their holiday plans going horribly wrong.

Frankfurt airport in Germany has grounded all flights, while Heathrow in London is still only getting a third of its flights away. High-speed cross-channel Eurostar trains are also being cancelled.
