Daily Show's Jon Stewart in Afghanistan visit

American troops stationed in Afghanistan have been treated to a visit from the comedian Jon Stewart.

The host of the award winning Daily Show was accompanying the most senior US officer Admiral Mike Mullen as he talked to soldiers.

Jon told the BBC's Lyse Doucet why he was happy to bring a bit of light relief to the troops based at the Bagram air base.
