Occupy protest movement spreading

The protests against corporate greed which started in New York two months ago have inspired similar demonstrations worldwide.

On Thursday dozens in the Occupy Wall Street movement were arrested as they marched on the New York financial district, while in London protesters outside St Paul's Cathedral ignored eviction notices.

In Greece, the anniversary of the 1973 revolution was marked with a rally swollen by large numbers of anti-austerity protesters.
