Obama pledges end to Afghan war
US President Barack Obama has addressed the US public in a prime-time speech from Afghanistan, on the anniversary of Osama Bin Laden's death.
After signing a strategic agreement with Afghan leader Hamid Karzai he thanked US troops and hailed plans to end combat operations.
The 10-year accord outlines military and civil ties between the countries after the end of Nato's mission in Afghanistan in 2014, as Mark Mardell reports.
