Libya attack: US investigations

US authorities are focusing their investigations on why their consulate in Benghazi was attacked and the American ambassador to Libya killed.

There is growing speculation that the Libyan attack may have been pre-planned, and unconnected to any protests about a film depicting the Prophet Muhammad.
