The Pyongyang International Film Festival: Comrade Kim Goes Flying

The Pyongyang International Film Festival has opened in North Korea.

Held every two years, the festival offers North Koreans a chance to see a wide selection of foreign films.

Comrade Kim Goes Flying is the heart-warming tale of a young woman coalminer who dreams of becoming a trapeze artist. The romantic comedy is the first North Korean film to be co-produced with Western partners.
