Interpol: 'Match-fixers are far ahead of police'

An international football match-fixing suspect has been arrested in Italy after arriving from Singapore and giving himself up, Italian police have said.

Interpol Secretary-General Ronald Noble said he believed the arrested man - who he would not name - was linked to a match-fixing group controlled by Singaporean businessman Tan Seet Eng - also known as Dan Tan.

In an interview with the BBC's Jonah Fisher, Mr Noble spoke about the investigation as a whole and said that "match-fixers are far ahead of police".
