To unpick the architecture of Margaret Thatcher's funeral and how it played out Newsnight's Jeremy Paxman was joined by Conservative peer Baroness Trumpington, who was also a good friend of Margaret Thatcher, Giles Fraser, a canon of St Paul's until his resignation in 2011 amid a row about the Occupy protests, Lord Dobbs, a Conservative peer who was the party's chief of staff for a period under Lady Thatcher and went on to write the political novel House of Cards, Linda Woodhead, a professor at the University of Lancaster, where she leads research into religion and society, and Major General Matthew Sykes, the honorary colonel of the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery, who accompanied Lady Thatcher's coffin to St Paul's Cathedral.
