Syria needs a 'humanitarian corridor' says UK surgeon
David Nott, a British surgeon who recently return from five weeks practising frontline medicine in Syria, has told HARDtalk a humanitarian corridor needs to be opened in the country.
"The United Nations are going to have to stop talking and get some action," he said.
Mr Nott described getting to the part of the country he was working in as "incredibly dangerous" and added that without a humanitarian corridor people like him would not want to go because of the risk of being kidnapped or murdered.
