The plight of Niger's child brides

The African Union has launched a campaign to eradicate child marriage from the continent, saying 14 million underage girls a year should be given back their future.

The UN say the practice is on the rise and if unchecked, within the next ten years, 50 million girls will be at risk of being married before their 15th birthday.

The BBC's Special Correspondent Fergal Keane has travelled deep into a remote region of Northern Niger to investigate.
