World Cup 2014: How to make Brazil's most famous cocktail

With just days to go until the World Cup kicks off in Brazil, the BBC has been getting to know some of the local people.

Thiago Firmino is a guide who runs the Santa Marta favela tour, showing visitors around the community where he grew up.

Thiago embodies the entrepreneurial spirit of Brazil with his can-do attitude, referred to locally as "jeito", and does up to three tours a day.

He also takes groups to his home, where he teaches them to make Brazil's most famous cocktail - the Caipirinha.

Jon Sopel went along for a masterclass.
