Krishna Maharaj: Did cartel commit murders?

For 28 years, British businessman Krishna Maharaj has been languishing in jail in Miami for a double murder - and has been protesting his innocence. For many of those years, Newsnight has been following his case and revealing evidence that suggests that he was in fact framed.

In the last chapter in the story, it appears the murders may have been ordered by none other than Pablo Escobar - the Colombian drug lord.

An evidentiary hearing into his case begins in a Miami court on Monday, 11 November.
