Canada's dragon-slaying, laser-eyed politician
Dragon-slaying and fighting alien invaders with laser eyes may not be the qualities everyone would hope their member of parliament would possess.
But the powers are featured in a political advert for Canadian parliamentary candidate Wyatt Scott, who is standing in a district near Vancouver.
His promotional film has received more than 1.1 million views on YouTube.
It is one of a collection of adverts that use comedy for the election campaign.
They include comedian Scott Vrooman, who claims to be standing for the Senate - although seats in the upper house are appointed, not elected.
