UN Global Goals: Vova on life in Ukraine

Eleven-year-old Volodya Khomutovskyi, from Yabluneve in Ukraine, hopes to go to college or university - but he is unable to get to school in winter because he has cerebral palsy and the route is impassable by wheelchair.

Volodya lives with his mother in a two-room flat with a small garden and poultry paddock. They have no hot water in the house and they cannot afford gas or electric heating so they use firewood.

Volodya likes listening to rock music and hopes one day to become a rock musician.
