Edward Snowden on life as 'a marked man'

Whistle-blower Edward Snowden has told the BBC's Panorama he is a "marked man", after leaking details of extensive internet and phone surveillance by his former employer, the US National Security Agency (NSA).

Mr Snowden also denied, when asked by Panorama's Peter Taylor, that he made a deal with the Russian Federal Security Service and President Vladimir Putin, in return for being given asylum in Moscow.

"I burned my life to the ground to work against surveillance, why would I suddenly turn around, just because I am in a different geographical location," said Mr Snowden.
