Victim's brother Ken Dornstein on tracking new Lockerbie suspects

US and Scottish prosecutors have asked the Libyan authorities for permission to interview two men who have been identified as new suspects in the Lockerbie bombing.

Only one Libyan was ever convicted of blowing up the Pan Am plane and killing 270 people in 1988.

The two were named in a US television documentary My Brother's Bomber, on PBS's Frontline, external last month, which is based on the investigation undertaken by Ken Dornstein, whose brother David was killed in the bombing.

He told Today programme presenter Sarah Montague about the meticulous research that led to the identification of the suspects.
