100 Women: How is news failing women?

Women are much less visible in the media than men, according to the latest study by a group which monitors news organisations around the world.

The Global Media Monitoring Project has found that women only make up 24% of people heard about in the news, despite being half of the human population.

These are some of the findings of the report.
