First lady expert Myra Gutin on Michelle Obama's legacy

Prof Myra Gutin, first lady expert at Rider University in New Jersey, discusses the legacy of US first lady Michelle Obama.

She said: "I received many questions [at the time of President Obama's inauguration] about did I think she was up to it, did I think she was capable - the answer was always yes. Absolutely."

The first lady went to Princeton University and Harvard Law School.

Prof Gutin says she "paved the way for minority spouses".
