'We're bound at the hip' - Obama tells UK, in EU exit warning

US President Barack Obama has urged the UK to stay in the EU, saying it makes Britain stronger.

He said he was speaking up as one of the country's closest friends: "I think this helps your economy... precisely because we're bound at the hip I want you to know that".
