Celebrating Eid with the children of Aleppo, Syria

Striking footage captures children playing on a barrel bomb in the besieged Syrian city of Aleppo.

The video from the Aleppo Siege Media Centre shows the children in the run up to Eid al-Adah, the festival of sacrifice, which begins in Syria at sunset on Monday evening.

Aleppo has come under intense aerial bombardment by Syrian government troops backed by Russian forces.

The latest target was a market in rebel-held Idlib which killed up to 60 people and injured dozens of others as they shopped for Eid, while at least 45 died in strikes in Aleppo.
