Ex-CIA analyst compares Trump to Kim Jong-Un

A former CIA analyst has branded President Trump's "fire and fury" threat to North Korea as "bombastic", "over the top" and not helpful.

"It seems to be language written by the same speechwriters as Kim Jong-Un," Bruce Klingner told the Today programme.

"It seems to affirm the growing perception that the US may be considering a preventative attack on North Korea."
