Biden: ‘No new cold war’ with China
US President Joe Biden has insisted "there need not be a new cold war" with China after his historic meeting with the Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The leaders held talks the day before the G20 summit begins in Bali.
Mr Biden said he did not believe China would invade Taiwan imminently and that the US wants to see cross-strait issues resolved peacefully.
