Preparing for Kenya's vote on constitution

Eighteen thousand police officers are being deployed to a potential trouble spot ahead of a vote on Kenya's new constitution.

The country's bracing for its first national ballot since political violence, more than two years ago, left over 1,000 people dead.

The extra police are going to the Rift valley, which has the largest concentration of people planning to reject the constitution.

It aims to cut the powers of the president and devolve power away.
