Major Egyptian protest due after Friday prayers

Egyptian security forces are on high alert ahead of another day of expected anti-government rallies.

The demonstrations are likely to reach a peak following Friday prayers.

Overnight, there have been reports that internet and mobile services in the country were disrupted.

Seven people have died and more than a thousand have been arrested since the demonstrations began on Tuesday.
