A third night of missile and air strikes on Libya

Anti-aircraft fire and explosions have been heard over the Libyan capital, Tripoli, for a third night.

Witnesses said a naval base east of Tripoli was among the targets.

There are also reports of fighting in Misrata despite a declaration of a ceasefire by the government.

And in eastern Libya, a rebel advance from the city of Benghazi was repelled by government tanks.
