Libya 'ready to negotiate reforms', says spokesman

The Libyan government spokesman, Moussa Ibrahim, has said Muammar Gaddafi is ready to introduce reforms such as democracy and anti-corruption laws.

He said the Libyan leader is viewed as a "safety valve for the country to remain together... They are scared if he is not there for any reason we will have what happened in Iraq".
