SA elections considered litmus test for Zuma and ANC

Twenty three million South Africans are expected to go to the polls in municipal elections which are seen as the country's mid-terms.

The polls are considered a litmus test for President Jacob Zuma's ANC at a time when the party faces an impatient electorate, looking for improved services for the poor.
