Horn of Africa hit by worst drought in 60 years

At least nine million people are being affected by the crisis in the Horn of Africa where several countries are experiencing the worst drought in 60 years.

The rains have failed for the last two years while crops and livestock have died, leaving people with no food.

The charity Save the Children has just launched an appeal for £40m.
