South Sudan prepares Juba independence party

Huge preparations are underway in Juba, capital of South Sudan, which formally declares its independence from Sudan on 9 July.

Africa's newest country is roughly the size of Nigeria but has a population of just eight million people. It will be one of the world's poorest countries after years of war with the north.
