Horn of Africa: DEC to launch drought appeal

An appeal will be launched on 8 July by the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC), to raise money to help the millions of people being affected by severe drought in the Horn of Africa.

Half a million people in desperate need of food and water are now staying at the Dadaab Refugee camp in Kenya, the largest camp of its kind in the world.
