East Africa drought: More Somali areas hit by famine

The United Nations has declared famine zones in three more regions of Somalia, because of the rates of malnutrition and death brought on by the worst drought in 60 years.

The announcement brings the number of areas of the country suffering from famine to five, and includes parts of the capital, Mogadishu, which have become home to refugees fleeing violence and drought.

Daniel Griffiths reports.
