Rebel leadership give deadline for Gaddafi forces

Libya's rebels have given pro-Gaddafi forces until Saturday to surrender in order to 'avoid more bloodshed, destruction and damage'.

National Transitional Council chairman Mustafa Abdul-Jalil said that as of next Saturday if there is no surrender by Gaddafi's forces, the rebels will 'act decisively to end the situation in a military manner'.
