East Africa drought: Famine-hit Somalis ready to talk

Somalia's interim prime minister has said he is willing to talk to the militant Islamist group al-Shabab to help save the country from the severe drought.

Militant-controlled areas are suffering far worse from the drought and famine than other parts of Somalia, but aid agencies say getting supplies to these areas is extremely difficult.

The UN says three-quarters of a million Somalis are at risk of dying from famine within the next few months.
