Gaddafi and son given secret burial in Libyan desert

Colonel Gaddafi has been buried with his son, Muatassim, in a secret location in the Libyan desert, according to the country's National Transitional Council.

Their bodies were buried at dawn in an unknown location, following NTC concerns that any public grave could become a shrine or a target.
