Egypt protesters begin another day of action in Cairo

People in and around Cairo's Tahrir Square are still protesting, following a weekend in which at least 13 people are known to have died and hundreds more were injured.

A week before the start of parliamentary elections, demonstrators say they fear Egypt's governing Supreme Council of the Armed Forces is trying to retain its grip on power.

Jon Leyne, reporting from Cairo, says the reported deaths seem to have spurred on many protesters and there is little sign the demonstrations will end soon.
