Gaddafi's son right to be tried in Libya, says ICC prosecutor

The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Luis Moreno-Ocampo, has said it is right that Col Gaddafi's captured son, Saif al-Islam be put on trial in Libya and not sent to the Hague.

Mr Ocampo said the ICC has to make sure that the Libyan justice system was working but would respect the primacy of a national court.
