Hopes and fears for DR Congo's election

The Democratic Republic of Congo in central Africa holds elections on Monday in what could be a turning point for the people, who have suffered decades of war and suffering that is seen millions dead.

More than 19,000 candidates are in the running.

However, elections in the DRC have in the past been marred by violence.

The BBC's Andrew Harding has been to the city of Goma, in the east of the country, which is still living with the legacy of Congo's long wars.
