The BBC's Network Africa says goodbye
After nearly 40 years of broadcasting to the continent, the BBC's Network Africa programme has said farewell.
The final edition was presented by Audrey Brown (pictured above) and included tributes from Network Africa's editor, Peter Lewenstein, its former editor, Joseph Warungu, BBC Africa's head of current affairs, Stephane Mayoux, and our producer Lewis Machipisa.
And to welcome Newsday - the BBC morning show that starts next week - Audrey spoke to its editor, Simon Peeks.
This is a selection of Network Africa's last programme.
