Deadly riots between rival unions at Rustenburg mine

A policeman and four miners have been killed during riots at a South African platinum mine near Pretoria.

A second policeman is said to be in critical condition in hospital.

Clashes began on Friday between the recognised miners' union and a rival unofficial union.
