At least 25 dead after Syria strike

In Syria opposition activists claim at least 25 people have been killed in a government air strike on a town north-east of Aleppo.

It comes as the new international envoy to Syria, Lakhdar Brahimi, prepares for his first official engagement.

In a BBC interview, he acknowledged that the international community was doing little to stop the bloodshed.

The BBC's Jim Muir reports from Beirut, in neighbouring Lebanon.
