Murder prompts fresh calls for new sexual harassment laws in Egypt

Activists in Egypt are asking for new laws on sexual harassment after a woman was killed last month as she confronted a man who had allegedly harassed her in a village near Assiut, in the south of the country.

Over the past week protesters took to the streets around the Presidential Palace in Cairo to demand women's rights be recognised.

BBC Arabic's Maha Al-Gamal reports.
